Import Content

Our brand new importer allows you to upload content directly to the cloud. This skips the standard content indexing and push process, which is preferable for daily working files.

However, when it comes to initial large content imports, you might want to get this content into the cloud, without having the content synced to your local mapped working directory.

Using the File Importer

When you are viewing your files in the Mudstack desktop application, you will see an Add Files button in the toolbar.

Clicking this button will open the file importer modal, where you can navigate to the local folder you want to upload to the cloud. Make sure to select the first option to Import folder directly to cloud.

You can choose to import with or without the selected root folder.
